Ocean View lots now for sale on Virginia’s Eastern Shore

Milwaukee (March 6, 2007) – MLG Communities is pleased to announce that lot sales have begun for Ocean View, a 73-lot waterfront community located on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Ocean View lot sizes range from approximately 1 to 4 acres and are priced starting at $99,000. Numerous lots are positioned along natural ponds, 15 are waterfront lots and the majority have views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Ocean View offers those seeking tranquility and relaxation a unique opportunity to experience waterfront living in Virginia. The community is located near Parksley, Va., 20 minutes south of the Virginia/Maryland state line. Ocean View borders a nature conservancy property and its inland waterways provide residents with covenient access to the Atlantic Ocean and various barrier islands. Upon completion, the development will also feature a community center with a pool and spa.

Virginia’s Eastern Shore is a 70-mile-long peninsula that separates the Chesapeake Bay from the Atlantic Ocean. The area is renowned for its small fishing towns and scenic villages. Nicknamed “the land between two waters,” the Eastern Shore also offers many opportunities for relaxation and recreation including: fishing, shelling, biking and kayaking.

Based in Brookfield, Wis., MLG Communities is currently developing four residential projects on Virginia’s Eastern Shore including: Corbin Hall, Port Scarburgh, Olde Mill Pointe and Ocean View. MLG began developing projects on the Eastern Shore in 2003 and was drawn to the location due to its natural beauty and close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay.
